Scotland, 2001In Aberdeen, a football fan from Hibernian FC says that he is from Inverness. In Edinburgh, people can think that he is from the Highlands. In London, he might fell from Scotland. In vacancies in Spain perhaps from the United Kingdom. In Japan, maybe he will feel European.

Being European is not only a question of territories, distances and feelings. It is not only a political or economical question. I think that, at least till this moment, it is essentially a cultural question: the European way of life.
